Farah Amazfit presents the new smartwatches GTR 3, GTR 3 Pro and GTS 3
For years, Amazfit has made a name for itself in the smartwatch, but to date, the Chinese company controlled by Zepp Health (formerly Huami) had focused only on price / quality. Now, with the presentation of the new 2021 smartwatches Amazfit GTR 3 Pro , GTR 3 e GTS 3 , Amazfit takes advantage of entering the elite of premium manufacturers, without raising prices .
Fitness, fashion and functionality are the three characteristics on which Amazfit is focusing everything to try to change its face, thanks also to the collaboration of the streetwear fashion brand Heliot Emil and the young stylist Christian Cowan , who dresses in the likes of Lady Gaga , Beyonce, Kendall Jenner, Nicki Minaj and Naomi Campbell. What Amazfit looks at young people as potential buyers of its new smartwatches is therefore quite self-evident. It does so with reduced prices and with three products that do not lack the latest technologies and features. Three products, among other things, very different from each other and that do not overlap at all in function, design or typical customer.
Amazfit GTR 3 Pro: features and price
Amazfit GTR 3 Pro is the most advanced and expensive of the three new Amazfit models: the launch price is 200 euros. It has a round face with an AMOLED Ultra HD screen of 331 points per inch and 1.45 inches in size. The crown that surrounds the screen is used, along with the two side buttons, to move around the interface of the new Zepp OS operating system.
The watch can monitor more than 150 sports activities, automatically recognizes them and monitors heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), stress level and respiratory rate. It also keeps sleep and the menstrual cycle under control.
150 different dials and Always-on-Display function are available on this model, in the future there will also be the possibility to create new watch faces with a special kit for developers.
From a hardware point of view, it stands out for its integrated GPS, WiFi and 2.3 GB of memory available to store your songs, to be played directly from the watch and without the need to carry your smartphone (necessary, however, to attend calls: Amazfit GTR 3 Pro has a built-in microphone and speaker).
The 450 mAh battery promises up to 12 days of autonomy with GPS off. The weight of the watch is very low: only 32 grams.
Amazfit GTR 3: features and price
Amazfit GTR 3 is a cheaper version of Amazfit GTR 3 Pro: it has a smaller screen, from 1.39 inches, AMOLED HD and it does not have a speaker (so there are no calls), nor the ability to store music. The WiFi connection is also missing, not present in this model.
However, the ability to monitor children does not change the sport, not even automatically, nor does the battery, which, however, thanks to the lower consumption of the watch, allows autonomy of up to 21 days. The weight does not change, always 32 grams, nor does the Zepp OS operating system and the methods of interaction with the user interface. Amazfit GTR 3 costs 150 euros.
Amazfit GTS 3: features and price
Amazfit GTS 3 is still different from the two previous Amazfit smartwatches, starting with the screen: it is square, da 1.75 inches, AMOLED Ultra HD. The weight is very low, minimal and stops at just 24.4 grams. 150 sports modes remain, with automatic recognition.
However, there is the speaker, the WiFi, the memory for the songs, while the 250 mAh battery promises a range of 12 days. The price of Amazfit GTS 3 is 150 euros.
